Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker To Release New Trailer Very Soon?


It's been a month since the Lucasfilm released the very first teaser for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and now fans are looking forward to the release of the film's full trailer. While many expect the video to drop sometime in August, word on the street now says that the trailer could come much sooner.

According to one of the newest reports by Making Star Wars, Disney may be planning to release the full trailer for The Rise of Skywalker during its upcoming biennial event, Disney 23. The gathering is a biennial exposition event which promises guests and members the ultimate fan experience. Hoping to gather more buzz for the Star Wars franchise, word has it that Disney will release The Rise of Skywalker's new trailer during Disney 23.

"A well-respected source of mine with an excellent track record for accuracy tells MakingStarWars.net San Diego Comic-Con should have a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker panel this summer and this year's D23 is supposed to focus on The Mandalorian and the connection to The Disney+ service," the site writes.

There's a lot riding on The Rise of Skywalker. Not only is the film the final chapter in Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy, but it's supposed to serve as the culmination of the Skywalker saga. There have been many theories as to how everything all ends. Some believe that the film would retcon Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Others believe that it might help add to the film.
