Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Might Reveal Rey's Secret Connection To Star Wars Rebels

There is little doubt that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will finally reveal the truth about Rey and what her true purpose is in the Skywalker Saga. But is it possible that the girl from Jakku might actually have some strange connection to Star Wars Rebels? An interesting Easter Egg from Star Wars: The Last Jedi might actually confirm this.

A Reddit post shares some screenshots from the Star Wars Rebels episode The World Between Worlds depicting the mural that Ezra Bridger found. Interestingly, it points out that the hand signals illustrated on the mural were almost the exact same gestures that Rey performed in her vision in The Last Jedi. Check it out below.

Has anyone pointed this out ?...

Rey's vision in The Last Jedi certainly was strange and it did look like she may have found herself in the World between Worlds. However, it doesn't seem like Rey knew what she was doing in the first place. Perhaps it is a mere coincidence or the connection could be confirmed in The Rise of Skywalker.

Interestingly, Rey is one of the Force users that Ezra heard while he was in the World between Worlds. However, it is important to note that another voice that appeared in the episode was that of Kylo Ren. Although there is a possibility that this could confirm that Rey or Kylo can access the mystical plane, we'll need to wait until December to find out for sure.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.

Do you think Rey was able to access the World between Worlds? Sound off in the comments below.
