The first teaser for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker certainly had a lot of exciting footage but fans were also quick to note that there were several characters who were sorely missing from the trailer. For one, the Knights of Ren were nowhere to be seen. However, a new leak may have revealed some details about Kylo Ren's mysterious companions.
According to Making Star Wars, a great majority of the scenes filmed featuring the Knights of Ren were in Jordan. This could mean that they will be seen in conflict with Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron. However, there's another surprise character who could end up meeting the Knights.
The report also confirmed that Billy Dee Williams had shot a few scenes in Jordan, which means Lando Calrissian could be in the same location as the Knights of Ren. It's still unclear if Lando will be interacting with the Knights just yet. Nevertheless, it would be awesome to see how Lando would react to the masked warriors who somehow resemble Darth Vader.
It was also revealed that there could be six Knights of Ren, which is about the same number as previously seen in the Force flashback scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Hopefully, we'll get to see all of them in action this December.
The Knights of Ren were previously featured in the "leaked" Episode IX poster that also showed C-3PO with a bowcaster. Although these are welcome images, the first official poster for The Rise of Skywalker only features text.
