Remember when Star Wars Episode IX was initially supposed to be directed by Colin Trevorrow? The Jurassic World director originally had been set to helm the final movie in the Skywalker Saga before he was removed and replaced by J.J. Abrams. Interestingly, it might have a lot to do with Trevorrow's plans for a truly epic crossover.
One fan recently shared their theory about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Trevorrow hilariously responded to the tweet. Check it out below.
Dennis Nedry was played by Wayne Knight in 1993's Jurassic Park. Although Dennis was supposedly killed by a Dilophosaurus in the film, several fans have joked that the character may have actually eaten the dinosaur instead of the other way around (he did seem like a very greedy fellow).
It's a hilarious joke but one that certainly had people wondering what Star Wars would have been like with dinosaurs.
Trevorrow was signed on to helm the still-untitled Episode IX in 2015. He even worked on the screenplay for the Star Wars movie. However, Lucasfilm was not satisfied with the script he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. This eventually led to Trevorrow leaving the project due to creative differences and being replaced by Abrams.
Although he is no longer working on a Star Wars film, Trevorrow has been quite successful with a completely different franchise. He is expected to return and direct the third Jurassic World movie, which is scheduled for release in 2021.
