Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Actor Teases 'Amazing Moments' Deleted From Theatrical Cut

There is little doubt that the digital copy of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker already had some cool features. However, that might be nothing compared to the DVD copy of the film. Greg Grunberg has just teased that the extras could include some deleted scenes that never appeared in the theatrical cut of Episode IX.

Grunberg recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter where he admitted that he was already looking forward to getting the Rise of Skywalker DVD. The Lost star pointed out that there were several reshoots although "a lot of that stuff didn't even end up in the movie."

"I'm excited to see the DVD extras, because there are some amazing moments that I have that I can't wait to see," Grunberg said. He then added that most of these scenes took a lot of hard work and deserve to be seen by the fans.

"It was really, really difficult for them in edit to lose some of that stuff, and selfishly, I'm talking about my stuff. There are so many other things — and huge things — that I think people are going to appreciate when they look at it," he said.

For now, we have yet to learn about the extras that will be included in the Rise of Skywalker DVD and Blu-ray. In addition to that, the release of these copies has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Nevertheless, we're looking forward to some updates about the release in the following weeks.
