Star Wars fans might not be expecting that much news seeing how Disney has delayed the release of Lucasfilm's next batch of Star Wars movies, however, everyone's been eagerly anticipating new updates for the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and it looks like the trailer for the new season is coming out soon.

Star Wars leaker and Kessel Run Radio podcast host Noah Outlaw decided to share the good news on Twitter last week, saying that he's heard that the season two trailer for The Mandalorian is coming out in the next two weeks.

Sharing a GIF of Pedro Pascal's Dinn Djarin taking down a few stormtroopers, Outlaw tells his followers that "The Mandalorian season 2 trailer comes this month," a welcome statement during this dry news cycle.

While we do advise fans to take the post with a grain of salt, Outlaw has been posting a number of other Star Wars leaks before. The Kessel Run Host broke out the story that Disney is negotiating with Donald Glover for a Lando Calrissian series. He also reported on Disney's plans for a Bad Batch spinoff of The Clone Wars, and that leak has long since been confirmed.

We're crossing our fingers hoping that Outlaw's new leak about the season 2 trailer dropping this August actually does come true because everyone's been dying for major Star Wars news. It would definitely help quell a fanbase that's been fervently waiting for updates about the franchise.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available for streaming on Disney+.
