Star Wars: The Mandalorian is Getting a Virtual Panel

It looks like Star Wars fans who haven't gotten enough of Star Wars: The Mandalorian's behind-the-scenes documentary (Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian) are in for a treat.

According to a report by Radio Times, the virtual ATX Television Festival is offering a remote panel featuring guest directors of The Mandalorian, and it looks the virtual gathering is going to include Season 1 finale director Taika Waititi.

Together with series creator and writer Jon Favreau, executive producer and episode director Dave Filoni, guest directors Deborah Chow, Rick Famuyiwa, and Bryce Dallas Howard, Waititi and the rest of the Mandalorian team will be discussing the work behind the first season of the series.

Fans hoping to get more information about Season 2 of The Mandalorian will be disappointed – the series' guest directors are attending the panel to discuss the first batch of episodes and how each chapter wove into each other to offer fans a compelling narrative that focused on Mando (Pedro Pascal) and the Child.

Of course, the directors may drop a few hints here and there as to their plans for the second season of The Mandalorian. We'll just have to cross our fingers and wait and see.

There's certainly a lot of excitement building up over The Mandalorian. Not only is Ahsoka Tano going to make her way into the series, but Lucasfilm also promises the return of iconic bounty hunter, Boba Fett. Fans have a lot to look forward to in the second season of the series.

ATX's virtual panel with the makers of The Mandalorian is going to take place on Friday, June 5 at 4:45 pm CT.
