Star Wars: The Mandalorian Brings Back Classic Aliens for Epic Battle Scene

There have only been two episodes of The Mandalorian but fans are already convinced that the series is powered solely by Star Wars nostalgia and cuteness. This is evident in Chapter Two: The Child where classic Star Wars aliens got into an epic battle with the titular bounty hunter.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

The second episode of The Mandalorian featured something that none of us probably expected: an action sequence featuring a bunch of Jawas. No, really, it happened and it was awesome.

When the bounty hunter discovers that the Razor Crest has been stripped by the scavengers, he immediately chases after their Sandcrawler and it results in a huge fight while the vehicle is still moving. Unfortunately, the Jawas manage to stun him and get away with the goods (sorry, Mando).

The Jawas are not the only ones who will make you just a tad nostalgic while watching Chapter Two. There's also a creature that looks like the Reek that tried to kill Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones (although it's not a Reek, but close). In addition to that, Baby Not-Yoda channels old Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back as it uses the Force to make the Not-Reek float so the Mandalorian can kill the creature.

It's awesome to see so many elements that would remind you of the original trilogy as well as the prequel trilogy. We're really hoping to see more of these nostalgic moments (and Baby Not-Yoda's cuteness) in future episodes of The Mandalorian.
