Star Wars: The Mandalorian Actor Pedro Pascal Gives Rigid Answers to Season 2 Plans

There's a lot of excitement over the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Not only are fans eager to see Baby Yoda return together with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in the second batch of episodes in Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars series, they're also eager to learn Moff Gideon's (Giancarlo Esposito) backstory and the real reason why he wants to posses The Child so badly.

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo! to talk about his role in The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal talks about the second season of the series.

While the entertainment news outlet tries to wheedle a few Mandalorian spoilers out of the Game of Thrones star, Pascal holds his ground when asked about what fans might expect from the next batch of episodes.

"They can expect me to not talk about it at all. Only so they can experience the second season in the same way they experienced the first — that sort of awe and surprise. It's pretty wonderful," the actor teased.

Yahoo! tried to coax it out of Pascal by mentioning Baby Yoda as well, but the actor reminds the site that he wants fans to remain untouched by potential spoilers.

"Is there a surprise of the magnitude of Baby Yoda on the way?," Yahoo! asked again. "I don't want to say anything. I don't even want to prepare you for surprises that may or may not be there. Let yourself be as empty a canvas as possible to just experience it," Pascal said.

There must be a lot of exciting new scenes with Baby Yoda because Pascal's being extra careful about spoilers. It seems like the actor doesn't want to talk at all.

Of course, we wouldn't be entirely surprised to find out that Lucasfilm's been imposing a strict no-talk policy on all of The Mandalorian actors and actresses. After all, the series is one of the Star Wars franchise's biggest hits, uniting the fanbase despite the divisiveness of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is available for streaming on Disney+.
