Star Wars: The Mandalorian Actor Jason Sudeikis Forgot About Punching Baby Yoda

There is little doubt that the Scout Troopers who punched Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian are two of the most hated characters in the Star Wars Universe. However, it looks like Jason Sudeikis doesn't even remember that it happened. The comedian who portrayed one of the troopers has just revealed that he had forgotten about the heinous act.

Sudeikis recently spoke to Uproxx about his new project Tournament of Lights but the conversation also turned to The Mandalorian and he was asked what it was like to film that particular scene. Interestingly, Sudeikis claimed that he forgot that it happened.

"I can't remember exactly how many weeks, months went by from when Adam Pally and I did that with Favreau and Taika Waititi," Sudeikis said. Instead, he shared how happy he was to give his son a chance to meet The Child.

"For me, the most significant thing was my little boy Otis, who, like any little kid from the last 50 years, loves Star Wars. And I remember he even got to see baby Yoda. And it didn't hit me when that became such a huge thing when the first episode of Mandalorian premiered and everybody went hog wild about Yoda, baby Yoda, it didn't even hit me then like, 'Oh shit,'" Sudeikis continued.

Although Sudeikis forgot about the whole thing, the rest of the world made sure to remind him. According to the comedian, several people tried to contact him about the scene and his wife Olivia Wilde had to deal with fans on social media.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will air on Disney+ in October.
