Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is coming out this year and many are hoping that it washes away the "stink" of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, even though the film was bold and managed to subvert a lot of our expectations. The debate on whether The Last Jedi is a good movie or not will continue until the end of time but we can all agree that this new Mondo poster is awesome.
As fans can see below, The Last Jedi's throne room battle got the Mondo poster treatment and it's amazing. Seeing Kylo Ren and Rey teaming up to take on Snoke's red goons gives me positive flashbacks to that fight scene, with many fans likely feeling the same way. Even fans that hate The Last Jedi have to admit that this is an awesome-looking poster that highlights the excellent scene.
Obviously, some fans will avoid the poster simply because it's a celebration of The Last Jedi, which many people call "ThE WoRsT StAr WaRs MoViE EvEr," even though The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones exist. Fight me nerds, those movies are much worse than any moments from The Last Jedi and "so bad it's good" isn't a proper defense for their supposed quality.
Yeah, the movie isn't perfect but is also better than most of the haters give it credit for. Anyway, get this poster because it's beautiful and showcases Adam Driver's wonderful face.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming out on December 20.
