This year's installment of Star Wars has been a subject of many debates. Between who the last Jedi could be and what the different connections between the characters could be.
Now, it's possible that we finally get to settle at least one of thoseāand breathe a little easy, all those who were a little bothered by that meme of an opening crawl for Star Wars: The Last Jedi pertaining to Luke Skywalker's fate.
According to IGN, its Germany outlet had apparently cleared up a longstanding theory. That is, if "The Last Jedi" was pertaining to just one Jedi or a group of them, given that the plural form of the word is the same.
As per the German translation, the Jedi pertains to more than just one person. This is because the title used is "Die Letzten Jedi," which is a plural version, instead of the singular "Der Letzte Jedi."
There's another translation, this time of the Spanish variation that supports this theory. Of course, this only gives the possibility that maybe Luke Skywalker will survive whatever fate some fans may have thought for him.
It is possible that Luke will still end with a sad fate, since there's still Kylo Ren to fill in the shoes for multiple Jedi to survive.
Hopefully, we'll know more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the Orlando Celebration. The movie will hit theaters on Dec. 15.
