Star Wars: The Last Jedi will continue to build off the foundations The Force Awakens laid, and one of the biggest mysteries fans can't wait to see is the truth about Rey's parentage. Now, an actor from the sequel trilogy might have spilled some major spoilers.

Adam Driver, who plays the villainous Kylo Ren in the new trilogy, might have slip major spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi while talking about his character's rivalry with Rey (Daisy Ridley) during his GQ profile.
Driver discussed Kylo Ren's personality and how he might be pretending to be someone he's not.
"I remember the initial conversations about having things 'skinned', peeling away layers to evolve into other people, and the person Kylo's pretending to be on the outside is not who he is," Driver explained.
"He's a vulnerable kid who doesn't know where to put his energy, but when he puts his mask on, suddenly, he's playing a role. JJ [Abrams] had that idea initially and I think Rian [Johnson] took it to the next level."
While Driver's comments about his character is intriguing, it's what he said about Rey that's more surprising.
"You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who's hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices," Driver said, talking about Rey.
So Rey was a "princess who's hiding"? Director Rian Johnson promised that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will have big revelations about Rey's parentage. If Rey is a princess of the Star Wars universe, then it's likely that she could be a Skywalker, an Organa, or a Palpatine. We probably won't find out until the film premieres, but Driver's surprising comment will probably get fans debating until the film comes out on December.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theateres on December 15, 2017.
