Almost every Star Wars fan already knows that Rey's (Daisy Ridley) going to be busy training with Luke (Mark Hamill) in Ahch-To in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, however it seems like there are reports circulating that say that Rey's training is going to be interrupted by Kylo (Adam Driver) and the Knights of Ren.
Last week, a press event was held to celebrating the use of iconic Irish locations in The Force Awakens sequel, and the gathering included a screening of different footage taken from these locations. According to the reports, one of the most notable scenes features the attack of the Knights of Ren.
The Hollywood Reporter's description of the press event dictates that the footage "showed John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, as well as Ridley and Hamill, scampering up and down Skellig's steep hillside and shooting scenes in Oscar-winning production designer Rick Heinrichs' breathlessly cantilevered Jedi village, which was suspended 700 feet above the surf."
However, a user on the message boards at Star Wars News Net claims to have attended the press gathering, and decided to reveal one interesting scene from the footage.
"Kylo and the knights of Ren attack Luke and Rey on Ahch to. Seems to be a prolonged battle," the user writes. "Dusk into night time light. The Falcon takes heavy damage in some beauty shots over Ireland. Presumably trying to escape. Luke joins Rey in the tree and they're not alone. Both turn/look at a point while inside."
There have been rumors that Luke and Rey will find themselves being attacked by the Knights of Ren before, and while this adds fuel to all the speculation, there's still no telling how accurate this information really is.
We'll just have to wait and see.
