Star Wars: The Last Jedi - New Look at Snoke & Praetorian Guardians

With only five months away until Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters, the amount of promotional material for the film keeps stacking up, and the latest is an image that was shared on Reddit and 4Chan. It's a new look at Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) and his Praetorian Guardians.

"The Emperor's guards were very formal, and you always got the sense that they could fight, but they didn't," director Rian Johnson told EW.com. "They looked like they were more ceremonial, and you never really saw them in action. The Praetorians, my brief to [costume designer] Michael Kaplan was that those guys have to be more like samurai. They have to be built to move, and you have to believe that they could step forward and engage if they have to. They have to seem dangerous."

Last week, we saw the first official look at Snoke's Praetorian Guards courtesy of EW. They look pretty cool, and it's likely that Luke Skywalker and Rey will have to fight them to get to Snoke.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Benicio del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, and Lupita Nyong'o.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
