Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 7 Reveals the Jedi's Shocking Crime

It looks like viewers are not the only ones who are learning more about the Jedi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. In the latest episode of the animated series, Ahsoka Tano has discovered the shocking crime that the Jedi have committed against the people they promised to protect.

WARNING: The following contains spoilers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 7. Proceed with caution!

The episode Dangerous Debt immediately kicks off right after the events in Deal No Deal where Ahsoka and the Martez sisters Trace and Rafa were captured by the Pykes. As they try to find a way to escape, Ahsoka and Rafa get into an argument about their current situation. Interestingly, it all leads to Rafa revealing what truly happened to them and why the sisters had so much hate for the Jedi: A Jedi was responsible for the death of their parents.

It is revealed that the Martez sisters' parents were the innocent victims caught in the middle of a fight between an unnamed Jedi and a gang of criminals. Although the Jedi managed to prevent a crashing freighter from taking several lives, the freighter still ended up crashing into the Martezs' apartment. Sadly, this led to the death of the parents who barely managed to save the girls' lives.

This isn't the only reason why Trace and Rafa distrust the Jedi. Later, several Jedi came to Coruscant but they did not come to apologize or offer help. Instead, the Jedi told the children that what happened to them was the will of the Force.

It's a shocking revelation that may have a lasting effect on Ahsoka, who had already turned her back on the Jedi. But what could this mean for Ahsoka's story? Perhaps we'll find out next week.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 7 is currently streaming on Disney+.
