Star Wars: The Clone Wars Could’ve Had a Bounty Hunter Face-off

Star Wars: The Clone Wars has a lot of rich materials, and apparently, there are still a couple more that haven't been showcased even as deleted scenes.

The current Star Wars Celebration has given fans another glimpse of unaired material, and this time, it involves Cad Bane and Boba Fett. IGN had a chance to get a glimpse of the deleted scene, which follows Cad Bane teaching Boba Fett how it is to be a bounty hunter.

It wasn't determined if the scene was part of the arc shown from a previous Star Wars Celebration event. But it does seem to continue the clip where the two were in Tatooine and attacked by the Sandpeople.

But instead of a friendly encounter, the deleted scene shows the two on opposite sides. Bane appears to have a gun trained on two captives. Fett, on the other hand, not only comes in proclaiming the freedom of the two, but also wearing a new green armor that has only been teased as part of the show.

With the arrival of Embo and Bossk and Bane asking Fett to surrender, the two end up in a head-on face-off with just their holstered guns.

"So that's it. just you and me then, Boba Fett."

The face-off does explain one thing. As both bounty hunters fall to the ground following the firing, Fett's helmet is seen blasted off and as it lands, the scorched mark on it is on the same spot as what was seen in The Empire Strikes Back.

This is a pretty nice to the events, and proves that there are a lot more stories to be told in the Star Wars universe.
