Star Wars: The Clone Wars Actor Dee Bradley Baker on Captain Rex and Ahsoka Tano's Legacy

There is little doubt that Captain Rex and his young friend Ahsoka Tano have been through a lot in the past six seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. However, it looks like there are even bigger things to deal with in Season 7. But what will happen to Rex and Ahsoka when the final season is over? Voice actor Dee Bradley Baker says that the two characters' legacy will live on for several years.

Baker recently spoke to io9 where he discussed how Rex's relationship with Ahsoka has changed over the years.

"There's a lot of water under the bridge with Ahsoka and Rex," Baker said. "[Since] the first meeting of the two, Rex has kind of gradually loosened up, and [loosened up] his style of soldiering. I think that's in answer to his working with Ahsoka and Anakin for such a long time."

There is little doubt that Rex and Ahsoka are two of the characters who have managed to make it through after all these years. Needless to say, Baker is already looking forward to how fans will react when the final season comes to an end for Rex and Ahsoka.

"And for them to come through all of this together? For Rex to survive that fall and then to make it all the way through the end of the Clone Wars, it's a real culmination. It's quite exciting, and very satisfying, to be able to play that out, finally," he said.

We're also looking forward to seeing more of Rex and Ahsoka this year. Hopefully, nothing too crazy will happen to them in the final season.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 airs on Disney+ every Fridays.
