We're already at the eighth episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and it's finally time for a particular character to return. Interestingly, Episode 8 also brought back an unexpected friend from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the most shocking way.

The eighth episode of The Bad Batch is titled Reunion and it doesn't take long before we find out why. The Scrappers Guild have reported the Bad Batch's location to the Empire who immediately sends Crosshair to kill them.
The former member of Clone Force 99 proves that he is the best guy to take down his team since he knows them too well. Crosshair efficiently cuts off The Bad Batch from their ship, forcing the team to escape through the cruiser's ion engine. He manages to pin them inside and tries to kill them by turning the engine on.
Interestingly, the Bad Batch is equally prepared for the plan. They sabotage the engine with explosives they have stolen from the cruiser's armory and Crosshair is horribly injured in the explosion.
The trouble doesn't end there. Omega and Hunter are confronted by the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who had been hired by Lama Su to retrieve the young clone. Bane shoots Hunter in the chest and takes Omega but Hunter survives and is taken by the Bad Batch as they escape on their ship.
Crosshair's return was a welcome one but it also put the clone in danger. We're hoping, just like Omega, that there is still a cure and he could eventually rejoin the team despite his injuries.
