Star Wars: The Acolyte Scores House of the Dragon Writer

The Acolyte is one of the most anticipated Star Wars offerings in modern times. Given that being secretive is one of the elements that make fans look forward to any project, not much information has been released to the public about this upcoming live-action series. But recently, new information emerged about who and what’s going on in the show’s writers’ room.

In 2021, Leslye Headland was announced as The Acolyte’s showrunner and executive producer. It was also reported that she had assembled a writers’ room to conceptualize and create the scripts for the series. We all know that screenplay is very important for the progress of any narrative, and fans are always in a position to hope that the upcoming series will land in the right hands of the writers who will take care of the story.

Masked in The Hollywood Reporter's new report, House of the Dragon writer and co-executive producer Charmaine DeGraté is one of the writers of Star Wars: The Acolyte, and she also serves as the show's co-executive producer. House of the Dragon is Game of Thrones’ first spinoff that gathered enormous viewership and positive remarks from critics in 2022, and if one of its writers will also write the upcoming Star Wars series, fans are sure in for a treat.

Her television work has made a mark in Hollywood, and in addition to penning the script for Colin Trevorrow’s upcoming Atlantis, she also worked on Prime Video’s upcoming series Daisy Jones & The Six.
