It looks like Samuel L. Jackson has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. The Captain Marvel actor has just confirmed once again that he is ready to return to the Star Wars Universe as Mace Windu and he even has his purple lightsaber waiting for some action.
Jackson has been very vocal about bringing back Windu despite the character's obvious death in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The Spider-Man: Far From Home star has even given some possible instances on how to bring the Jedi Master back, insisting that Windu survived the fall and could still fight with one arm. Now he's even considering the possibility of being de-aged once again just so he could reprise the Star Wars role.
"Well, we've got Lola [VFX], they've got Lola, it's theirs, let's see what happens. I'm down with it," Jackson told ComicBook.com about being de-aged for Windu's return. "I've still got my purple lightsaber, I'm ready."
We're pretty sure that Jackson still has what it takes to play Windu. After all, he's appearing in three action films this year. In addition to Captain Marvel and Far From Home where he's returning as Nick Fury, Jackson is reprising his role as John Shaft II in Shaft as well.
Windu's return could be an awesome thing to hope for and it might even happen. Disney has already been considering spin-off shows focusing on Star Wars characters so they might think about bringing Windu back in a Disney+ series. However, that's just speculation so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.
