Star Wars: Rise of The Resistance Touted As Disney’s Most Ambitious Attraction To Date

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is opening this year and it looks like the theme park's second attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious in the site.

Disney's chairman of parks, experiences, and products, Bob Chapek just recently spoke in an interview with USA Today and during the discussion with the entertainment news outlet the executive detailed Rise of the Resistance's impressive features.

Giving the publication a walk-through, Chapek called Rise of the Resistance "the most ambitious attraction that we've ever built."

Starting off with a secret entrance built into a set of hills in a place called the Black Spire Outpost, Rise of the Resistance lets guests walk past supply cabinets where they see Poe Dameron's X-Wing Starfighter, BB-8, and a hologram of Rey. After entering the attraction, guests are made to board a spaceship which then gets pulled into a Star Destroyer.

There, fans face the First Order as they're being forced to escape from Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren himself.

The attraction basically gives guests the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a regular member of the Resistance, throwing them into the throes of war and into the arms of an escape mission. It's a ride that Star Wars fans would love, especially since Disney is putting so much attention to detail to "one of the biggest, most elaborate, and longest rides in the history" of the park.

We definitely can't wait to try out Rise of the Resistance.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to open during the Fall of 2019.
