Star Wars Releases Stories of Light and Dark Clone Wars Anthology

Star Wars: The Clone Wars might have come to an end this year, but it looks like Star Wars fans are going to get the chance to re-experience the critically-acclaimed series thanks to Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Stories of Light and Dark.

Lucasfilm just announced a brand new anthology tribute to The Clone Wars today on the official Star Wars website, unveiling a brand new collection of eleven stories that offer a different look at Dave Filoni's hit Star Wars animated series. These eleven stories come from Preeti Chhibber, Lou Anders, Zoraida Cordova, Jason Fry, Greg Van Eekhout, Rebecca Roanhorse, Tom Angleberger, Sarah Beth Durst, E. Anne Convery, Yoon Ha Lee, and Anne Ursu. The book also includes ten retellings of The Clone Wars most memorable arcs and episodes, plus one original story based on the Nightsisters.

This is definitely great news for Star Wars fans hung up on The Clone Wars. Sure, the series might have finally gotten the end it deserved with its seventh season on Disney+, but there's no harm going back and seeing The Clone Wars through a different lens.

In other Clone Wars news, there have been rumors circulating online saying that Lucasfilm is planning to develop a sequel to the series. Of course, as with all rumors, we advise fans to take the report with a large grain of salt – stories like these are a dime a dozen. It's better to wait for official announcements from Lucasfilm regarding the future of the franchise.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is available for streaming on Disney+.
