The Star Wars franchise has quite a number of ace pilots but according to Star Wars Rebels voice actress Vanessa Marshall, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) might actually be the very best.
Marshall voices the pilot Hera Syndulla in Star Wars Rebels, and from time to time the Twi'lek would demonstrate great piloting skills on the series. However, in an interview with Comic Book, Marshall admitted that Star Wars favorite smuggler had exceptional skills, saying that Hera has no chance of besting Han.
"Well, they're dealing with very different ships that have very different features and I spoke to [Lucasfilm Story Group member] Pablo Hidalgo about this and he said that [Hera] would do a respectable 14 parsecs for the Kessel Run. I bow down to Han Solo, but perhaps that's just my fandom getting in the way of my ability to be objective."
Though the voice actress is a recent addition to Star Wars Rebels, Marshall's a pretty big Star Wars fan and apparently she was pretty torn when Han Solo died at the hands of her son in The Force Awakens.
"I saw Force Awakens on Friday, I was at New York Comic Con, I saw it with New York Philharmonic playing along with it and nothing could prepare me [for the experience].The Han Solo moment in that movie just wrecked me in a good and bad way. In the way that we all must accept what is as far as canon goes."
While Han is a pretty good pilot, the franchise also has other great pilots, like Wedge Antilles and Luke Skywalker. Who's your favorite pilot?
