Star Wars: Rebels Sequel Reportedly in the Works for Disney+

Star Wars Rebels will go down in history as one of the more controversial installments of the canon, with some claiming that it's a fun kid's show while others feel that it purposely lured in older fans by using characters like Ahsoka and Darth Maul from The Clone Wars. Despite the mixed reception, Rebels did end up introducing a generation of fans to Star Wars and a lot of kids do like the show so it's no surprise that we could be getting a sequel series soon.

According to First Order Transmissions, the Star Wars Rebels sequel series could come out later this year and will have people from the original show involved, like Dave Filoni. The show will reportedly revolve around Ahsoka and Rebels main character Sabine, though the contents of their journey haven't been detailed. We can assume that they'll look for Ezra, though most of us wish he just died.

Considering the fanbase of Rebels, we can all assume that the rumored series supposedly coming to Disney+ will get quite the reaction when it's announced. Say what you will about Rebels but it seems to be doing a lot better than Resistance, which seems to have zero fans and doesn't seem to be particularly liked, despite Oscar Isaac reprising his role as Poe Dameron.

Star Wars Rebels can currently be streamed on Disney+ and is available on both Blu-ray and DVD.
