Star Wars Rebels Broadcast Times Shift To Avoid Spoilers

It looks like Star Wars Rebels is changing the airtime of its episodes to fit each episode premiere. After starting off the fourth and final season of its popular animated Star Wars series, Disney XD has decided to change the airtime of its new episodes, shifting its Monday night schedule to start at 9:00 PM ET.

That's a lot later than the 12-midnight premiere. Disney XD used to schedule the episodes to come out at 12:30 AM ET and then show the newly premiered episode at 3:00 AM ET, 7:30 AM ET, 5:30 PM ET, and 9:00 PM ET.

However, according to a report by Comic Book, it seems like the studio has found the multiple airings a bit spoiler heavy, and Disney XD has decided to return to a primetime airtime to avoid spoilers hitting the internet early in the morning before its target audience actually gets to watch each week's new episode.

It's a good decision for Disney XD because there's a lot of great arcs in the next two weeks. This week Star Wars Rebels will have another back-to-back episode, and so will the next week allowing the series to broaden its scope.

The episodes of Star Wars Rebels fourth and final season airs on Disney XD every Monday at 9:00 PM ET.
