Star Wars Actor Rahul Kohli Clarifies Live-Action Ezra Bridger Casting

There is little doubt that people want to find out what happened to Ezra Bridger after Star Wars Rebels ended, right? So are we going to see a live-action version of the Jedi in a Disney+ series soon? There have been speculations that iZombie star Rahul Kohli has been cast as Ezra, thanks to the actor's own cryptic tweet. Now Kohli has spoken up to properly address the casting.

It's no secret that Kohli has been campaigning to play Ezra for some time now. However, a recent tweet had people talking when the Supergirl actor somehow confirmed he is getting ready for a truly special role, which led to "Ezra Bridger" becoming a trend on Twitter.

Not surprisingly, Kohli was overwhelmed by the reaction from the fans and had to make a video explaining that he is not, in fact, playing Ezra anytime soon. Watch the video below.

This is rather disappointing for fans who were already hoping that Ezra will finally make his live-action debut in a Star Wars series, perhaps in The Mandalorian Season 2. On the other hand, we can't really blame Kohli for the fan casting considering he is also a huge Star Wars fan. For now, we'll just have to hope that Disney and Lucasfilm actually consider the idea and give Kohli a call.

Do you think Kohli should be cast as Ezra in a live-action Star Wars show? Sound off in the comments below.
