The Star Wars franchise has always been seen as a huge franchise but it can't be denied that it's had its fair share of ups and downs through the years. However, the brand's expansion via Disney+ proved to be a blessing in disguise and it paved the way for the franchise to become an even bigger deal thanks to the success of The Mandalorian which pretty much reinvigorated the Star Wars universe.

Now, whether fans would like to admit it or not, the franchise currently revolves around the Mandoverse, and thinking about it now, it's hard to imagine Star Wars without it. This is why a lot of people were bewildered to find out that the official poster for the upcoming Star Wars Day aka the "May the 4th" celebration chose to omit Mando and Baby Yoda from the graphic.

The official banner for the annual Star Wars celebration includes characters from the past and present of the science-fiction franchise. Even the divisive sequel trilogy was given a nod in the said poster but for some strange reason, characters from The Mandalorian weren't included. Check out the official banner here.

While I want to give Lucasfilm the benefit of the doubt, there's no way The Mandalorian's omission from the said banner was just some sort of oversight and it's unclear why they would choose not to include arguably their hottest property right now. Of course, there's still time for them to change the graphic but something like this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Meanwhile, the third season of The Mandalorian begins filming soon.
