Sometimes people tend to forget that Ben Solo was once trained by Luke Skywalker and that the two worked together before Supreme Leader Snoke got his hands on Ben. However, a new Star Wars comic book confirms that Ben went as far as to fight the Knights of Ren with the Jedi Master on his side.
Writer Charles Soule shared the cover for Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #2 on his official Twitter account. Interestingly, it might confirm that the Knights of Ren were once Ben's enemies. Check it out below.
"This is the cover to THE RISE OF KYLO REN #2, written by me with art from @WillSliney. Out in January," Soule wrote. He then added, "And yes, that's Luke Skywalker and Ben Solo fighting the Knights of Ren."
It's a stunning image considering that most fans believe that Ben first turned against Luke before forming the Knights of Ren. However, the cover art might confirm that the Knights have been around even before Ben changed his name. So who exactly are the Knights in the first place? Needless to say, we're curious and can't wait for the comic book to be released.
The Rise of Kylo Ren is a four-part miniseries that will explore the character's backstory. The first issue will be released on December 18 followed by the second issue on January 15, 2020. In the meantime, fans can expect to see Kylo in action in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theaters on December 20.
