Star Wars: Pablo Hidalgo Shares Interesting Detail About Grand Admiral Thrawn

There are some things in the Star Wars Universe that must be known and considered canon, like the truth about Rey's parentage or how Emperor Sheev Palpatine will be brought back in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, it seems like Pablo Hidalgo is mostly interested in sharing some interesting details about Grand Admiral Thrawn that people didn't really need to know.

The Lucasfilm creative executive is known for being quite approachable on social media which is why fans love asking him questions about Star Wars. One fan recently asked a particular question about Thrawn's, er, body parts and Hidalgo had the most interesting (and unexpected) answer.

Well, there you go. Considering that this is coming from Hidalgo, it's safe to say all three of Thrawn's blue nipples are canon.

Thrawn has always been one of the most feared characters in the Star Wars Universe. He was initially introduced in the Timothy Zahn's 1991 novel Heir to the Empire and has been a subject of several books, short stories, and video games. Although most of those have been considered non-canon after the Expanded Universe was rebranded, Thrawn was reintroduced in the third season of Star Wars Rebels.

It is still unclear if Thrawn will eventually make his big-screen debut in a Star Wars film. However, fans who have been hoping to get some much-needed content can expect to read more about the Grand Admiral in Zahn's upcoming novel Thrawn: Treason.

Thrawn: Treason will be released on July 23.
