The Mandalorian already has a nod to famous Star Wars bounty hunters with IG-11 and the Mandalorian character himself, but we're actually going to be meeting some Trandoshans in the show i.e., the same species of people that Bossk is.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a photo of the Mandalorian taking on some Trandoshans:
This is just my personal analysis, but it looks like the Trandoshans in the photo have more human faces as compared to Bossk who has more of a snout. Of course, this is still normal when it comes to Star Wars. Even if two characters are of the same race, it's still likely there will be some specific differences here and there. If these characters are going to show up, I have a feeling that we would also be running into Bossk sometime down the line.
What are the odds that this show's Mandalorian will run into the Mandalorian of Star Wars, Boba Fett?
Though we got one teaser for the show at D23, I have a feeling that Disney will release one more full trailer as November draws nearer. With the show coming out close to the release of The Rise of Skywalker as well as the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Lucasfilm will have to do some PR gymnastics to make sure every property gets the proper amount of promotion.
Catch The Mandalorian when it debuts on Disney+ which launches on Nov. 12.
