Star Wars: New Details about Robert Rodriguez's The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode Possibly Revealed

We're still trying to find out more about what will happen in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, it looks like we're actually getting some new details about one particular episode that will be helmed by new Star Wars director Robert Rodriguez.

It was previously reported that Rodriguez has already worked on an episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 although details about it were not revealed. Interestingly, HN Entertainment now confirms that the Alita: Battle Angel director actually worked with cinematographer David Klein on his episode. Klein is known for his work on Deadwood: The Movie as well as episodes for Homeland and True Blood.

But how many episodes will Rodriguez work on in the new season? That has yet to be confirmed. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the filmmaker will be reunited with Rosario Dawson, who has been confirmed for a guest role in the second season of The Mandalorian. Rodriguez and Dawson have previously worked on Sin City and its sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Although Rodriguez's involvement in The Mandalorian Season 2 is all but confirmed, another filmmaker went out of his way to debunk rumors about his own role in the series. Logan director James Mangold previously shut down speculations that he was one of the new directors who will be working on the Star Wars show.

Production on The Mandalorian Season 2 has been temporarily shut down due to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, the series is still expected to return on Disney+ by October.
