It's been a long-standing debate amongst foodies and pizza fans whether or not putting pineapples on pizza should be accepted. Traditionally speaking, the sweet and tangy fruit isn't exactly something Italians would put on their pies but over the decades, western culture has made it a staple and while some people are still on the fence about it to this day, it sure gained a massive cult following.

Now, if you'll ask the ever-opinionated Mark Hamill about the entire pineapples on pizza debate, you can simply say that the Star Wars legend isn't part of the majority of people who enjoy the divisive pizza variant. Taking to his official Twitter page, the Luke Skywalker actor finally set the record straight and pretty much let fans know that he doesn't allow pineapples and broccoli for that matter anywhere near his pizza.

Hilariously, Hamill's statement caused quite a stir on the social media platform with Hawaiian pizza enthusiasts coming to the flavor's defense. What do you think? Do pineapples belong on pizza? Check out some of the reactions below:

Meanwhile, Hamill's future in the Star Wars franchise remains unclear at this point but given the fact that he's been doing some "secret cameos" for the franchise since 2015, with his appearance on The Mandalorian Season 2 being the latest, it would be safe to assume that as long as he's here, he will always pop up in a galaxy far, far away. So far, a future MandoVerse return could be on the table for him unless of course Lucasfilm actually decides to finally recast look and not rely on CGI magic.
