Star Wars: Mark Hamill's Latest Interaction with New Luke Skywalker Actor is Heartwarming and Pure

In case you missed it, Mark Hamill is happy and proud of the new Luke Skywalker actor who will appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Not surprisingly, young Grant Feely is also overjoyed to get the approval of the Star Wars legend. The two actors have been interacting on social media for some time now and the latest interaction is possibly the cutest one yet!

Mark Hamill had previously expressed his approval for the new Luke Skywalker on Twitter and it didn't take long before Grant Feely responded to Hamill's post and thanked the legend for his support. In his latest tweet, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor stated that Feely was perfect for the role.

"You got this, @grant_feely! They chose YOU for a reason. They knew you would do a wonderful job as young Luke, even though you're much too handsome for the part. Have fun with it! Best always from your pal, Mar[camel]," Hamill wrote. He added the hashtag #SeeYouAroundKid at the end of the tweet.

In his post, Hamill put Feely's photo beside a picture of himself when he was a little boy. There certainly is an awesome resemblance between Feely and the young Hamill and we can't wait to see more of the new Luke Skywalker this May.

We already know that Luke will be in Obi-Wan Kenobi but is it possible we'll get to see a young Princess Leia Organa as well? It was previously reported that Simone Kessell might be playing Queen Breha Organa, Leia's adoptive mother and Senator Bail Organa's wife. If Breha is set to appear in the Star Wars series, there's a good chance her daughter will be in the show as well.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will bring back Star Wars prequel trilogy actors Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse. They will be joined by Rupert Friend, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Bernie Safdie, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi show will be a limited series consisting of six episodes. It will premiere on Disney+ on May 25, 2022.
