There's no denying that Star Wars is and always will be one of the biggest franchises in all of entertainment and apart from its dominance in the world of streaming, the brand has also proven its popularity amongst gamers. Speaking of, Fantasy Flight Games is currently working on a new game that will hit stores sometime next year.

Following in the footsteps of popular titles such as Marvel Champions: The Card Game and The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, Star Wars is releasing its own deck-building game but only this time, it will be a competitive PvP-style game as opposed to a co-op style card game.

Apart from the fact that the game will be designed by Caleb Grace, other details about the Star Wars Deck-Building Game are still being kept under wraps. To tease the game's arrival, Fantasy Flight Games unveiled the card game's box art with stunning art featuring Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader on the cover. Check it out below:

Speaking of Luke and Vader, even after the Skywalker saga's conclusion, both characters continue to play vital roles in the franchise. Luke has already made two jaw-dropping appearances in the MandoVerse while Anakin/Vader is expected to show up in the Ahsoka series following Hayden Christensen's successful stint in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. It's definitely a good time to be a Star Wars fan.

Meanwhile, all nine films of the Skywalker saga are available for streaming exclusively on Disney+.
