Star Wars Legend Mark Hamill Teases Boba Fett's Return in The Mandalorian Season 2

In case you missed it, there have been speculations that Boba Fett is set to show up in The Mandalorian Season 2 now that Temuera Morrison has been cast in the Star Wars series. But what could happen to the bounty hunter if it is confirmed that he actually survived the events in Return of the Jedi? Mark Hamill says that he didn't expect to see Boba again but points out that anything is possible in the Disney+ show.

Hamill recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight where he was asked if he knew about Boba's return in The Mandalorian Season 2. Not surprisingly, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor had pretty much the same reaction as the rest of the fandom.

"I thought he was a decade into getting digested at this point," Hamill said. However, on a serious note, he pointed out that the men behind the series are the best people to continue exploring Boba's story.

"There's so many ways they can go and Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are both the right people for the job. They know it better than I do," Hamill concluded.

It was already confirmed that Morrison will have a small part in the second season of The Mandalorian. However, there have also been reports that he could take on a second role as the live-action version of Captain Rex.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, it is expected to air on Disney+ in October.
