Star Wars Legend Mark Hamill Hopes He Can Quit Twitter

Last month, Star Wars legend Mark Hamill decided to quit Facebook as an act of protest against the social media platform, condemning Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over his controversial decision against filtering political ads on the site in the run-up to the 2020 election.

Though Star Wars fans were devastated, they were glad that Hamill decided to stay on Instagram and on Twitter, sites where the actor was much more active. The Star Wars legend is known for posting frequently on Twitter, trolling Star Wars fans, sharing Star Wars tidbits, dad jokes, and of course, expressing his personal and political opinions.

However, it seems like Hamill may actually be planning to leave Twitter.

Posting on the social media site, the Star Wars legend called himself an "aspiring Twitter quitter" after sharing a quote that says that "there is glory in the unexpressed thought" together with a picture of himself raising a finger to his lips.

Hamill's fans were quick to comment on the post, begging the actor to stay on the social media site. The legendary Star Wars actor and DC voice actor makes Twitter such a great place to be around, and we can't imagine what kind of life a Star Wars fan would have without Hamill trolling everyone. Twitter definitely wouldn't be the same without Hamill around. We definitely hope that the actor changes his mind.

The latest Star Wars release, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, is currently screening in cinemas.
