It looks like Star Wars legend Mark Hamill is going to play a part in the second season of Jemaine Clement's new FX series, What We Do In The Shadows.
Series creator and co-writer Jemaine Clement just recently announced Hamill's casting in What We Do In The Shadows at the Television Critics Association press tour (via Deadline), welcoming the Star Wars legend to the show. While the news might excite fans of the American comedy horror television series, Clement has yet to announce who exactly Hamill will play in the show.
For those who aren't familiar with the series, What We Do in the Shadows is a half-hour comedy based on a movie of the same name created by Clement and by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. Like the movie, the series focuses on the lives of three vampires living on Staten Island. The series gives fans a humorous slice of life look at vampire living, a bright contrast to the usual horror and romance genres surrounding the creatures.
Though we're not quite sure what kind of role Hamill's going to play in What We Do in the Shadows, we're sure that the Star Wars legend is going to fit right in the comedy horror series. Aside from the fact that Hamill's played various roles outside of the Star Wars franchise, the actor also has a funny bone, trolling Star Wars fans on social media for shits and giggles. We'd love to see Hamill join all of the antics in the FX series.
What We Do in the Shadows season 2 is set to premiere on April 15, 2020.
