Rose Tico is set to return in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker but what's going to happen between her and Finn? Kelly Marie Tran teased on how the relationship between the two Resistance fighters will be moving forward in the upcoming film.
Tran recently attended the D23 Expo 2019 to promote The Rise of Skywalker. While speaking to Variety, the star of The Last Jedi was asked if fans will finally get to see some romance bloom between Rose and Finn. Interestingly, Tran stated that people will need to see the film to find out.
"I think there are a lot of really cool things that happen in this movie. As to what they are, I cannot say, but I cannot wait for people to explore these relationships between these characters further," she said.
She's pretty secretive, isn't she? Of course, there's a reason why Tran doesn't want to divulge too much about what will happen to Rose and Finn. After all, their first kiss didn't exactly end well since Rose immediately lost consciousness from her injuries. Although it's safe to say she'll recover just fine, there is hope that the two would make things work in The Rise of Skywalker.
It's still unclear if Rose will be joining Finn on his mission along with Rey and Poe Dameron. However, there's a possibility that she'll be busy with her own mission in the film. Will Leia send Rose on a mission of her own? We'll find out soon enough.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere on December 20.
