Star Wars Actor John Boyega Reacts to Oscar Isaac's Dune Look

Though Finn and Poe Dameron work as a pair onscreen, actors John Boyega and Oscar Isaac are pretty good friends in real life as well. With Dune giving us our first look at Isaac in armor as Duke Leto Atreides, Boyega has come out online to show his support for his Star Wars co-star.

If anything, I think everyone who is a fan of Isaac is reacting like Boyega is. After the fresh-faced Resistance pilot, it's great to see Isaac as a hardened royal in space armor.

In the film, Isaac plays he part of Duke Leto Atreides who is the father of Paul Atreides, the character being portrayed by Timothee Chalamet. He is known to be one of the more noble members of House Atreides, and is considered to be ‘even-handed' and a ‘compassionate leader'.

I have to say, the movie has definitely nabbed a star-studded cast. Besides Isaac and Chalamet, the movie also includes the likes of Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson.

While some are hyped for the release of this "Star Wars meets Game of Thrones" property, a lot of fans are concerned that this will be another Blade Runner 2049 in a sense that it was a fantastic adaptation, but it didn't get enough interest from general audiences. Hopefully with a December release date, Dune will become a hit in theaters. I guess the only film really in its way is Top Gun: Maverick.
