Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is Coming to PS4 This Week

After the release of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, fans were waiting with anticipation for Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the next classic re-release confirmed by LucasFilm. The game was another strong title in the Jedi Knight series and a lot of fans still have plenty of good memories playing this game. We've been waiting for Jedi Academy to get a release date and now we finally have one; March 26.

That's right, fans will be able to play Jedi Academy this Thursday on the PlayStation 4, as confirmed by The PlayStation Blog. Unlike Jedi Outcast, which only had its single-player, Jedi Academy's press release seemingly confirms that the online multiplayer will remain intact. The post also confirms that the game will have modernized controls and trophies, so those of you that like to platinum their games will be able to do so.

The online multiplayer classic comes to PS4 with Trophies and modernized controls! Take on the role of a new student eager to learn the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. Interact with famous Star Wars characters as you face the ultimate choice: fight for good and freedom on the light side or follow the path of power and evil to the dark side.

While Jedi Academy will be coming to the PS4 this week, there's also a good chance that it will be released on the Nintendo Switch as well. Jedi Outcast was simultaneously released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch last year so there's a good chance that they will do the same for Jedi Academy. However, the game's release on Nintendo Switch has yet to be unveiled so we'll have to wait and see.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy will be coming out on PS4 later this week, on March 26.
