Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Will Not Let Players Choose The Dark Side

We're learning more about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, thanks to the game's recent gameplay demo on EA Play. But what are the chances that Cal Kestis will actually abandon his mission and join the Dark Side? According to Respawn Entertainment, the answer is zero.

Respawn's Stig Asmussen and Vince Zampella were on hand to answer any questions fans had about Jedi: Fallen Order during EA Play. Interestingly, they made it clear that players will not be able to choose between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force.

According to Asmussen, they made sure that Cal will remain in the Jedi Order because he's not just the protagonist in the game. Cal also happens to be part of Star Wars canon and might actually appear in other places. In addition to that, Zampella stated that the game is "a Jedi story."

So could this mean that Cal will actually appear in the Star Wars films, books, and TV shows? It wouldn't be a surprise considering that the character has a lot of potentials. For now, we can rest assured that Cal will never betray the Jedi.

Although the character is only a Padawan in the game, Cal clearly has full control of his powers. However, that would still depend on how well you, the player, masters all of his skills. In this case, may the Force be with you this November.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15.
