Star Wars: Is Katee Sackhoff’s Bo Katan Coming to The Mandalorian?

Besides the return of The Clone Wars, Star Wars fans are waiting for the first live-action SW show coming to Disney+, Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian. It's been said that the show will feature some familiar faces from the past films, but is it possible that we're going to get the live-action Bo Katan?

Talking to Collider Live, Katee Sackhoff, who voiced Katan on the show, was asked if she knew anything about The Mandalorian, to which she gives a wry smile and says, "Disney makes you sign these NDAs that are so thick… They've even gotten digital at this point. You just put your hand down and they're like ‘we own you,' so I have no comment."

The bit starts at 1:01:30:

Seeing that Katan herself is a Mandalorian, it would make sense for her to make some kind of appearance in the show, but it's likely she would have aged a lot more significantly. I mean, if she was around the same age as Obi-Wan during the Clone Wars, Katan would have been an old lady come the original trilogy timeline—which is the same timeline that The Mandalorian takes place in.

Then again, I'm always up for a holocron or recorded message of a middle-aged Sackhoff playing a live-action version of the character. Anything to make the universe feel a bit more cohesive. Heck, I'll take a whole flashback sequence of young Pedro Pascal's character interacting with the much older Bo Katan.

Of course, Sackhoff hasn't confirmed anything, and this is just based on her reaction after being asked about the show. Fingers crossed we get a live-action Bo, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

The Mandalorian debuts on Disney+ on launch day Nov. 12.
