Star Wars Finally Reveals What's in Willrow Hood's Camtono

He may have only been a background character but there is little doubt that Willrow Hood is a Star Wars icon. The mysterious resident of Cloud City appeared briefly in The Empire Strikes Back carrying what looked like an ice cream maker that turned out to be a camtono. But what exactly was in the container and why was Willrow so determined to take it with him? A new Star Wars book will finally reveal the important contents of Willrow's camtono.

The new book From A Certain Point of View is a collection of 40 new stories about characters who appeared in The Empire Strikes Back. One of the tales is titled Due on Batuu and will be told from Willrow's point of view. An excerpt from the Rob Hart short story has been shared on Twitter and it suggests someone important may have taken an interest in Willrow's camtono. Check it out below.

"When Willrow Hood came alongside the trio, he yanked the camtono away from her, feeling a flood of relief having his hands on the metal container again. He nodded to the troopers. 'She's Rebel Alliance. And she stole my property. I'm taking it back.'"

Now we're not saying that the trio mentioned here could be Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia but it sure sounds like it. But why would Leia take the camtono from Willrow? We may finally find out this weekend.

Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View will be released on November 10.
