Star Wars Finally Reveals Boba Fett's New Look in The Mandalorian Season 2

There is little doubt that the biggest surprise in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1 wasn't even the gigantic Krayt Dragon that was terrorizing Mos Pelgo. Instead, it was a dark mysterious figure that was eventually revealed to be Temuera Morrison. Now, we have a better look at our first glimpse at Boba Fett since the events that took place in the Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

In Return of the Jedi, Boba was accidentally thrown into the Sarlacc Pit where he was expected to be killed slowly as the creature digests him for hundreds of years. However, fans have long theorized that the bounty hunter managed to escape the pit and even seek out Han Solo to take revenge. Although the latter part seems unlikely, the whole idea of Boba surviving the Sarlacc Pit has just been confirmed by The Mandalorian.

The final shot in Chapter 9: The Marshal shows a man watching the horizon. When he turns around, he is revealed to be a bald Morrison with scars all over his face.

This shouldn't be surprised since it has been implied that Morrison is playing Boba in The Mandalorian Season 2. Perhaps the big question is, will Mando go back to Tatooine and meet the original Mandalorian introduced in the Star Wars Universe?

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 1 is now streaming on Disney+.
