For the first time since 1999's The Phantom Menace, Star Wars is bringing back Yaddle and while casual fans of the franchise may have forgotten about the Jedi Master, it's no secret that diehard Star Wars followers have been waiting for this moment for years. The excitement only intensified when it was revealed that Yaddle will headline her own episode in the new animated series Tales of the Jedi because, well, it marks the first time we'll hear her speak.

Voiced by The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka director Bryce Dallas Howard, Yaddle's fate is decided in the show as she gets killed by Count Dooku who is transitioning to the ways of the Sith. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't Howard's voice performance that made the fans buzz but Yaddle's manner of speaking.

Of course, all of us are well aware that Yoda is well-known for his backward way of speaking so it came as a huge surprise to everyone how Yaddle spoke like a normal human being. This led a lot of fans to conclude that Yoda was nothing more than a "weirdo" for choosing to speak the way he always did.

Following the mindblowing discovery, fans took to Twitter to hilariously lambast the Jedi Master. Check out some of the tweets below:

With the confirmation that Yaddle actually spoke "normally", it would be safe to assume that the exact same creatures from their species also did the same. Now, it got me curious how Grogu would end up sounding like when he finally reaches adulthood.

All episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi are now available streaming on Disney+.
