It's no secret that The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 was filled with awesome Star Wars Easter Eggs and references from start to finish. But did you spot a small cameo from a figure that has only appeared in the animated shows? As it turns out, Ahsoka Tano's regular companion also showed up in the Disney+ series.
In Chapter 13: The Jedi, Mando and Baby Yoda arrived on Corvus and immediately headed for the city of Calodan where they were met by the Magistrate who had an interesting proposal for the bounty hunter. She wanted Mando to get rid of the Jedi that had been bothering her in exchange for her Beskar steel spear.
When Mando wanders into the forest, he is attacked by Ahsoka but he manages to calm her down when he tells her that Bo-Katan Kryze sent him. But before all that, it is revealed that Ahsoka isn't alone.
That's right, the Morai that appeared in Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars has once again followed Ahsoka and has now made her live-action debut along with her constant companion. The cameo was a brief one but once you notice it, it's one of the best things about the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2.
The Morai has been bound to Ahsoka since the Daughter transferred her life essence to the young Padawan. Since then, the two have been inseparable and Ahsoka has even admitted that the convor saved her life. Needless to say, we're loving the idea that we could see more of the Morai in the future.
The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 is now streaming on Disney+.
