There is little doubt that Star Wars fans tune in every Friday in hopes that certain characters will return in The Bad Batch. However, it looks like Episode 6 actually made it clear that we will be seeing more familiar faces, thanks to the return of someone we had already lost in The Clone Wars.

In Decommissioned, Cid sends the Bad Batch on a mission to retrieve a Separatist tactical droid for its battle intel. However, the team later realizes that they are not the only ones who want to get to the droid before the data is scrubbed. Clone Force 99 clashes with Trace and Rafa Martez who are also after the droid.
It is later revealed that the Martez sisters were trying to get the information for an anti-Imperial Resistance movement that has been growing for some time. Hunter later decides to give the sisters a copy of the data and interestingly, the sisters contact their client to tell them about the Bad Batch.
While this is all intriguing, Star Wars fans only had their eye on one thing in the episode. It is revealed that Trace and Rafa have an astromech droid that is confirmed to be R7-A7, the droid who had helped Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex throughout the final season of The Clone Wars.
It is certainly a relief to know that R7 has been repaired. After all, the droid was practically destroyed in the Clone Wars series finale. However, Ahsoka and Rex were able to salvage his remains in the wreckage.
R7's return is also a huge tease at Rex possibly making an appearance in The Bad Batch. Perhaps we'll even see Ahsoka in the show but we should probably wait until next week to find out more.
