After the explosiveness Chapters 5 and 6 delivered, Star Wars fans unsurprisingly had high expectations for The Book of Boba Fett's grand finale and while it wasn't awful by any means, a lot of people thought the seventh chapter of The Mandalorian spinoff show failed to capitalize on the momentum the previous two episodes created.

Chapter 7, titled "In the Name of Honor" centered on the war between the Pyke syndicate and Boba Fett's crew, something that has been building up since the beginning of the series. While it did feel like the stakes were incredibly high for the finale, many fans believe that the episode ultimately fell flat and didn't have the same level of excitement Chapters 5 and 6 had. In fact, The Book of Boba Fett's final episode received a low score on Rotten Tomatoes, becoming the worst-rated episode of the show with a 50% score on the Tomatometer.

Now, fans are calling out director Robert Rodriguez who helmed the series finale, and most of them believe that he should be blamed for the finale failing to leave a mark. Check out some of the reactions below:

To be fair, Rodriguez directed one of The Mandalorian Season 2's best episodes in Chapter 14: The Tragedy and even earned praise for it and it's quite baffling and unfortunate at the same time how he didn't manage to live up to the expectations of fans. I guess pressure played a huge factor and honestly, cramming everything into a single episode isn't a walk in the park. Here's to hoping though that he'll be given a chance to redeem himself.
