Star Wars fans rejoiced when they learned that Boba Fett is getting his own spinoff show and after a great showing in The Mandalorian Season 2, you would think that the famed bounty hunter would be able to hold his own in his own series. Unsurprisingly, the expectations were incredibly high considering Din Djarin's series has consistently performed well since its inception. However, The Book of Boba Fett started off at a slow pace much to the disappointment of viewers and it was even labeled "bland" and "boring".

Thankfully, the last three episodes of the Temuera Morrison-led show were able to turn the volume up ahead of the finale but after seeing the final chapter, the fan reception has been generally mixed. For starters, viewers were upset after Chapter 7 didn't feature any cameo appearances from beloved Star Wars characters.

Some people also thought that the finale lacked the explosiveness Chapters 5 and 6 had. But despite all the issues some had with the finale, there are still fans who were satisfied with how the show ended. Check out some of the reactions below:

While I do agree that the finale kind of fell flat and left me wanting more, at least it didn't put Boba on the sideline and Robert Rodriguez made sure he was still the star of his own show despite Din Djarin and Grogu playing a major part in the episode. As for The Book of Boba Fett's finale lacking a stellar cameo, I genuinely think it was the right call on Rodriguez's part because it would've taken the spotlight away from Boba once more.

All episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are now available for streaming on Disney+.
